Let's Celebrate Publication of the First BEDBUG BOOK, Dec. 8th, 2009!

The BEDBUG BOOK has been Published and is Now Available!

 

(Just in time for Christmas!)

Of course, this isn't the first book written about actual bedbugs, nor the first kid's book with a bedbug as a character but it's the first book in my BEDBUG SERIES. 

Book Information

• BEDBUG is the invention of "grandma" (Melody Rhodes)
  

• The BEDBUG TOY is the creation of Carolyn Ann Aish

• BEDBUG PHOTOGRAPH ILLUSTRATIONS by Edward Aish

THE BOOK

• The Bedbug Book is the approximate size of a CD case--5.5" x 4.75" (in centimeters: 14 x12)

• The book has a thick laminated cover with pages of thin card

• The book has been hand-bound with strong ribbon and fuzzy orange yarn

TOY BEDBUG

• The bedbug has been lovingly made with bright orange faux fur and glued with strong, flexible non-toxic glue to 6 pipe-cleaner legs--carefully crimped at the feet ends for user safety.
  

• This toy is recommended for children over 4. (Under 4s should have supervision when playing with the toy, due to small parts.)

• Care instructions are included for the toy bedbug

The BAG

• The bag is made of a soft organza material and has a small ribbon draw
  
• The bag has been designed so that BEDBUG can peek out at you! 
• Care should be exercised when placing/removing book and bug in/from the bag.
